چکیده

In this review, we explore the application of novel biomaterial-based therapies specifically targeted towards craniofacial bone defects. The repair and regeneration critical sized defects in region requires use bioactive materials to stabilize expedite healing process. However, existing clinical approaches face challenges effectively treating complex defects, including issues such as oxidative stress, inflammation, soft tissue loss. Given that a significant portion individuals affected by traumatic area belong aging population, there is an urgent need for innovative biomaterials address declining rate new formation associated with age-related changes skeletal system. This article emphasizes importance semiconductor industry-derived potential solution combat stress bone. Furthermore, discuss various material autologous treatment approaches, well vitro vivo models used investigate therapeutic strategies context repair. By focusing on these aspects, aim shed light advanced overcome limitations current treatments pave way more effective efficient interventions

Biomaterials for bone regeneration.

OBJECTIVE This article reviews the literature on biomaterials used for bone regeneration. MATERIAL AND METHOD A total of seventeen bibliographic sources were found using the MEDLINE database and to avoid the variability of the search terms the thesaurus Mesh was used. RESULTS These materials act essentially due to their osteoconductive ability, although their osteoinductive capacity is bein...

New biomaterials for bone regeneration.

Bone-grafting techniques either with autografts or allografts still represent a challenge for reconstructive surgery.Allografts and autografts are the current strategies for filling bone defects and subsequent repair but each have drawbacks. Synthetic bone-graft substitutes, developed in an effort to overcome the inherent limitations of autograft and allograft, represent an alternative strategy...
